BPP: Who are you?  And who you really are?

Kosmas Koumianos: I 'm a destination photographer.

I'm a man who is living his dream. Traveling all around the world and all around Greece doing fashion and weddind photography.  Always  meet new, different & beautiful people capturing their great moments and  creating some wow pictures! 

BPP: If you could say something important to others who were listening, what would you tell them?

Kosmas Koumianos: ''Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. 
You will not  understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. 

But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and 

recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before 

you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you 

imagine.  Do one thing everyday that scares you. Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with 

people who are reckless with yours. Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes 

you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with 

yourself.''

BPP:  What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart.

Kosmas Koumianos: Be healthy and live a long & happy life with the people I love ...simple as that.

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?

Kosmas Koumianos:Not good at all.  Four years of spiraling economic crisis in Greece have devastated every sector of the economy... We need to work harder and harder. We live in a global market so there are some good opportunities. I'm optimistic. 

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you choose the same life?

Kosmas Koumianos:The same again and again!! ...Till now I have a great life, I wouldn't change a thing

BPP:  What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?  How did you feel at this very moment?

Kosmas Koumianos: September 2010 Edinburgh. Got my first Dslr... and I started taking pictures.  Then I clearly realised what I wanted to do with my life... and the journey began doing the thing I love!

BPP: Would you like to tell us something we didn’t ask until now?

Kosmas Koumianos: Which of my photographs is my favorite?

STUDIES

Kosmas studied informatics at Piraeus Technological Education Institution and while working on this field; he decided to canalize his creativity in a series of photography studies. He started with Athens’ Small Polytechnic (Mikro Politechnio) Photography Seminars, advanced to OramaArt & Photography Studies and managed to enter the 2nd semester of London Middlesex University of Photography – AKTO, that led him to the International Center of Photography in New York where he mastered “Portraits”. Meanwhile, he participated in numerous workshops, taught by famous wedding and fashion photographers from all over the world. He also has his share of teaching experience, as he taught “Editorial Photography” at Newschool Athens.
