They all started as a joke.
"Only those who know the right people can achieve success". Me & my co - workers at office, talked about fame, life, money and creation 13 months ago. Marina Sifnaiou & Electra Pouraki, my beloved girls, grumbled allover about inequality and injustice of our corrupted society.
"Very well", I said, "and what can we do about it?"
They looked each other and they said: "who can really do something about this?"
"I guess we can do something," I said. " Let me think about it and maybe I'll find a way to change some things.
A few days after this conversation, I suddenly asked them to work for a new project. I had already found its name: "The Beautiful People Project".
"What is all about?" they asked.
"About Great People. No matter if they are famous or if they are not. If they know the right people or if they don't.
We shall feauture them because we like them. Because we feel their work is beautiful. Or simply because they are just Beautiful beings.", I answered them.
I suppose they thought I was crazy. But they said nothing. We started work on it for days and days and days.
We talk a lot and they helped me a lot to create it. At that point, I was completely ignorant about websites and blogs and all this stuff..
Altough they thought I was thinking like a silly teenager, they did their best and maybe deeply inside them, they believed we could succed in realizing this crazy idea.
So, today, I have to thank them both, because I could never create BPProject without their help.
Marina, Hlektra, sometimes, dreams come true.
Most of times they do.
If we let ourselves free to dream..
Hlektra Pouraki & Marina Sifnaiou
I want to thank you all -our guests and all these people who visit BPProject all these months.
Thank you for your support and for your love.
Once more, I want to apologize for my awful english;-P
But I guess, blogging isn't about how perfect someone speaks a foreign language, but if he/she dares to think - and write - with free spirit.
