Jayne Wrangler, Horse Listener, Horse Observer & People Trainer - Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Wrangler Jayne: "Seek first to understand, then to be understood"

BPP: Who are you?  And who you really are?

Jayne Wrangler: I’m happy at where I have arrived in life, experiencing  a life of passion and purpose as a Horse Listener and Observer (like a ‘horse whisperer’!)   I teach people to connect with horses: emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically (a People Trainer!).  It’s amazing how your life can forge new courses like a mountain stream!  I studied art and journalism and worked as a fashion model and photographer then a career in Personal Development, then an Artist and now, it’s all about horses!
I am someone who is always seeking to improve, to expand my knowledge, to make a difference on this earth for people and animals and our world’s environment.

BPP: If you could say something important to others who were listening, what would you tell them?

Jayne Wrangler: Seek first to understand, then to be understood.  Always remember you are in charge of how you view your own life.   Always Be Kind.  Be silly sometimes.  Never lose your childlike wonder. Live with Respect for all in Nature.

BPP: What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?

Jayne Wrangler: To see a global moratorium on cruelty to animals.  To know that horses everywhere in the world are respected and treated with dignity and kindness.

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?

Jayne Wrangler: I feel the people in my country are struggling to be positive about their lives.  I wish that the country was better guided, people had more faith and self-esteem. For the people of the planet, I wish they could live in peace, be kind to every living creature, respect the earth, and walk with faith.

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you choose the same life?

Jayne Wrangler: Yes – with some improvements that the wisdom of hindsight gives us.  It is the kaleidoscope of life that brings us to where we are and who we are and what we are doing.  Even the struggles are meaningful and teach us.

BPP:  What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?  How did you feel at this very moment?

Jayne Wrangler: As a child, when I touched a horse for the first time, I felt a passionate longing that I was too young to understand.  I made a Dream Book when I was a young adult, and in it was a photo of a woman riding a white horse on a beach.  It was that image that lived in my subconscious until many years later when two white horses came into my life, and from that moment forward I knew my future would be one of synergy with horses.   I feel I am here to make a difference.  It’s a strong feeling. (I did get to ride my white horse on a beach too!)

BPP: Would you like to tell us something we didn’t ask until now?

Jayne Wrangler: Being happy on the outside helps you feel happy on the inside.   My background in the Personal development business has helped my career as a teacher of natural horsemanship, and has helped me personally to maintain positivity, the ability to laugh and to enjoy what I have.  I hope that I am able to influence people to feel better about themselves and their lives.  I feel truly blessed to be able to live my passions!
