Sylvain Corentin's Portrait
Sylvain Corentin: The Anarchitecture of Sylvain Corentin, the man who escaped reality
BPP: Who are you? And who you really are?
Sylvain Corentin: I'm an artist from South of France, 50 years
old and i have three children.
I don't know who I really am. I live between
reality and my world.

BPP: If you could say something important
to others who were listening, what would you tell them?
Sylvain Corentin: An envy to rise above our world to see it such as it is overall, but also to show its places, full of stories and scars, in a common memory : geology, archaeology, geography, town planning as markers of time and of our way of experiencing our planet. A nature that fights, mankind that has to find back its humility. The urge to change our point of view in search of a common aesthetics.

BPP:
What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one
day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?
Sylvain Corentin: I want to share my art with people and travel
to meet them. I want to see the maximum I can achieve with the time available as a human being: meet and share,
see and hear.

BPP: How is life currently for the people
in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?
Sylvain Corentin: I wish that we can keep the freedom of
expression worldwide and respect for other people.

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child
again would you choose the same life?
Sylvain Corentin: During my childhood , I felt very bored. So, I created a parallel universe to escape from reality. This parallel world created, transferred me to a place where there was no age. The world of adults makes me unbearably bludgeon.

BPP:
What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with
your life? How did you feel at this very
moment?
Sylvain Corentin: I realized what i wanted to do when I was 5 years old and i was at school, when I used my first crayons.
I felt that I existed as a human being and I had endles possibilities
