BPP: What is your real dream, the one that keeps you awake at nights and if one day it will come true, you will feel your heart calm and peacefull?

Gad Eko Hendro: I would be lying if I didn’t dream of a life filled with wealth, seing my family happy, and my work being accepted and useful to many people.  But my dream now is to write a book about what I have and do now.  I want to write a book because I want others to learn about my work. And I also want others to be able to benefit from passing on my knowledge.

BPP: How is life for the people in your country today? What do you wish to happen to them and to the people of this planet at large?

Gad Eko Hendro: In globally, this country has many crisis. Economics, politics and government that effected to the citizens. Many leaders do not realize that their decisions and private lives do not reflect their leadership, which in turn affects the lives of many people.

I believe that people deserve to live a good life. Having enough food and getting a good education is important for everybody. Living a life of peace is important more than any other.

BPP: Which exactly was the moment you understood what you want to do in your life? How did you feel at this very moment?

Gad Eko Hendro: Since I was a kid, I started to love these things that I'm doing now. Just because the subject that I studied in college and my previous job made me forget about creative works. Until in 1999, I've decide to explore more works of  art world as permanent job. For sure, it's a pleasure to doing again the creative works, felt like finding my 'long lost world'. Feels like coming home. And until now, I enjoyed every progress that happens in learning and improving this job.

BPP: Something yours: Do you want to tell us something we didn't ask you until now?

Gad Eko Hendro:  Who inspired me? That was a question that wasn’t asked to me. When we see others inspire our lives, shouldn’t we know where they got their inspiration too?
