BPP: Who are you?  And who you really are?

Liba Waring Stambollion: I do confess having asked myself the same question before. :))
Let me start simple:
I am certainly an adventurer, a creative person and on a quest for my Higher Self.
I am a Daughter, sister, mother, wife, friend
I am a painter, a book maker, a furniture designer
I have a tendency to get involved in lots of projects, both of my own making and of other people’s making. My big project this year was birthed in 2012. It is called Dreams & Divinities and it showcases ‘conscious art’ through books and expos. On the Spring Equinox 2013  a Visionary Art Conference will be held in the Cathedral of Toledo: Iglesia St Marco. It will launch a traveling exhibit of around fifty artists and my latest book ‘Diving the Dream’ which includes 61 artists and 26 poets.
I feel that at the deepest level I am a creature of Love.
Love is what I quest and intend in myself…
Unconditional universal Love…
To the best of my ability, Love is at the center of all my quests, all my creative expression, my actions, my relations,
It is my guide and my objective

BPP: If you could say something important to others who were listening, what would you tell them?

Liba Waring Stambollion: I would say follow the intuitive path of the heart and live your passion. Don’t wait. The moment is Here and Now.

BPP: What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?

Liba Waring Stambollion: I would love to see a planet with people living in harmony with Nature and with each other. I do wish for the abolition of the current money system. Also I wish for a planet without countries but with networked ‘self-sustained eco communities; working  together to make incredible creative projects on every scale.
My peace and calmness comes to my heart when I am satisfied, grateful for all the blessings in my life. Even when I am faced with challenges, I try to see their part in the yin and the yang. The darker the night, the more the stars are bright…

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?

Liba Waring Stambollion:In relation to other countries on the  planet, France is a very fortunate country. All citizens are guaranteed a roof over their head, food and warmth, education and health care. With this base it is easy to be grateful for everything else in our life. I grew up in South East Asia and countries like Indonesia and the Philippines do not have this basic need assured. My wish for the planet is that all these basic needs are covered for all people everywhere.
However what I really wish is that the greed paradigm which rules the social economic climate of our planet, would shif to a heart based paradigm encouraging sharing and mutual benefit. I wish we would wake up to the Paradise which is already here on earth and that we would restore the Garden so at all creatures big and small could benefit from the beauty.

BPP:  What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?

Liba Waring Stambollion: How did you feel at this very moment?
Since the early age of my childhood I have wanted to be an artist.  Poet, priestess and anthropologist were also big interests. Since these 'careers' all can take very different paths, I had to decide. I remember in my early twenties narrowing down my career objectives to the three most important things: creativity, independence and travel. I started a company with my husband designing furniture and having it made in Indonesia. This decision fulfills the three most important criteria for a job. Painting and writing my spiritual vision was never intended as a commercial move and I have always done this parallel to my career.

Finding other artists painting their dreams and forming  a planetary community of conscious art is a thrilling  journey for me and the most fulfilling one as a life move.
