Denis Belenko: "Our doubts are our traitors. They force us to lose something that we could win probably if weren't afraid to try"

BPP: Who are you?  And who you really are?

Denis Belenko: My name is Denis Belenko. I am the organizer and the inspirer of architectural studio "Belenko bureau". I’ve gathered around me some people who are willing and able to create things. We are friends and colleagues in spirit, obsessed with our work. We like to work as a team, we grow together and every day we study hard and we intend to inspire a lot of people with our work.

Denis Belenko:  The main thing is: never stop until you reach your goals, never let your brain and body to stand pathetic, instead, and try to develop your spirit, your inner world, to train your mind and body hard. It is necessary to refine yourself you every day - then any purpose is achievable!

BPP: What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?

Denis Belenko: Probably it sounds very patriotic, but I would like to see a greater economic & political stability in my country.
Than there will be hope for every talented child to have a better future, and the parents will have no feeling of anxiety anymore; they will have the chance to give to their children all the best…

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?

Denis Belenko: In Ukraine nowadays is a rather  tumultuous time and there is actually a great oppression in the heart of many Ukrainians. My heart is restless for my children, my friends and relatives...
Our country is broken off by political contradictions and an economic crisis, so we can't feel free to concetrate to our work or to the future of our children...
I would like to wish peace to each person of the planet in a global sense of this word!
What you wouldn't be able todream and to do if  your life was peaceful and secure!

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you choose the same life?

Denis Belenko: If I could choose - I certainly would choose the best way, but I am sure that the best way for us - is on what we did already, with all its difficulties and pleasures.
I am happy with my life, I am glad I can plan for the future and for everything is already done in the past.

BPP:  What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?  How did you feel at this very moment?

Denis Belenko: When I first entered the university I was rather confused, so I walk into the  door of the reception committee. When I came into the hall, I saw many interesting pictures on walls that they immediately attract my interest. So I was late for some time and while I studied those pictures, suddenly I thought that nothing casual occurs in our life. And I started studying as the architect... And here began the most interesting era of my life... ! I felt that I will be able to create a lot of things, and this feeling doesn't leave me since than !

BPP: Would you like to tell us something we didn’t ask until now?

Denis Belenko: Our doubts are our traitors. They force us to lose something that we could win probably if weren't afraid to try. If you try to create something important in your life, the universe will definitely support you. Good luck!
