Marcel Salome:" Don’t be afraid to jump when you are standing on a the top of your symbolic mountain. Those who jump will fulfill their dreams"

BPP: Who are you?  And who you really are?

Marcel Salome: My name is Marcel Salome born on 7 October 1967 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. I am father of 2 children, owner of Re-Art (a Fine Art Printing Company), Curator of the Dreamscapes Exhibitions, publisher of art books, photographer and a musician.
I am a introvert person but I can be also very extrovert. Integrity is very important for me. I am sensitive, open minded and sometimes I can be naïve. I am a kind-hearted person who like to give to others but that makes also that sometimes people can abuse me.
I am standing very positive in life and try to see negative experiences in a positive way. Once I have something on my mind I go for it and don’t give up so quickly. Sometimes I need to search my limits and like every person I also have my dark sides.
Music and Art have enriched my life and trough music and to exhibit art of artists I try to enrich other peoples lifes.

BPP: If you could say something important to others who were listening, what would you tell them?

Marcel Salome: Treat people as you wish to be treated yourself. Stimulate your children in a creative way but don’t push them. Keep self thinking and don’t believe everything what is said in the media because it is so easy te get manupilated by te media. Have eye for detail, because there is so much beauty around us.

BPP:  What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?

Marcel Salome: My true dream is that I can see my children grow up in good health and that they finally will survive me. The thought to loose one of my children can keep me awake at night. I hope that when they grow older that they can look back with warm feelings and that they have learn something from me about life.

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?

Marcel Salome:The life in The Netherlands is very good, people are open minded and many things are well arranged. Sometimes the Dutchs forget how nice they live here in the Netherlands. In social way the life in The Netherlands is harder and people are less tolerate than they were 15 years ago.
There are so many to wish for the planet at large that I have no idea where to start from. So, start with yourself If you want to make the world a better place.

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you choose the same life?

Marcel Salome: YES! It made me who I am. There are some parts of my youth that I would like to skip or change them, but I am convinced that I needed also those hard parts of life to learn and to take lessons from them.

BPP:  What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?  How did you feel at this very moment?

Marcel Salome: I was 12 years old when I found out that I wanted to become a professional photographer or musician but I needed my diploma’s certificates to continue at the academy of photography or for the conservatory. At age 16 I failed at school because I was more interested in music, streetlife, girls and hanging out the clown. My father kicked my ass, took me from school and I had to find a job to pay for a living. From that moment I realized that I had throw away my opportunities and feeled so bad. From the same moment that I started to work very hard, I tried to listen and learn as much as possible. In my free time I went to school to get my certificates as photographer and graphic specialist. I wanted to show my father that I could do it on my own and wanted that he could be proud of me. A few years later he died so he never could see that I finally made it!

BPP: Would you like to tell us something we didn’t ask until now?

Marcel Salome Everyone can fulfil his dreams as long as you believe in your dreams and if you are willing to work hard for it. Don’t be afraid to jump when you are standing on a the top of your symbolic mountain. Those who jump will fulfill their dreams. Do the things that you always wanted to do. Try not to get old and one day you look back at your life and you will think: “I wished that I have jumped than”

Here is a expression (Quote) I always use:
"Those who cannot share, they also cannot multyply!"
