Dawn Schreiner: " I wish for greed to be erased from all nations"
Dawn Schreiner's self portrait
BPP: Who are you?
Dawn Schreiner: Dawn Schreiner, artist, illustrator, cat lover and chicken farmer. I am trying to embrace the idea of a hamster.
BPP: And who you really are?
Dawn Schreiner: Mom. Worried about the future.
BPP: If you could say something important to others who were listening, what would you tell them?
Dawn Schreiner: Kindness matters.
BPP: What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?
Dawn Schreiner: For everyone to realize global warming is real and we need to do something NOW for our children and their children and so on.
BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?
Dawn Schreiner: At this moment a presidential election is in progress and will be over very soon. It has been a fierce and vicious fight. I wish politicians could state what they believe in and voters could choose based on those facts and not have to try to sort through all the rhetoric. I reiterate my statement on global warming, also, I wish for greed to be erased from all nations.
BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you choose the same life?
Dawn Schreiner:Yes, though there are a few sad things I would try to change. Otherwise it was wonderful.
BPP: What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?
Dawn Schreiner:The moment I put a pencil to paper.
How did you feel at this very moment?
Happy and a little stressed.
BPP: Would you like to tell us something we didn’t ask until now?
Dawn Schreiner: You didn't ask, but I think you are visionary with this concept and this idea is important. Thank you for including me in this delightful endeavor.
