Zurab Martiashvili: I am Zurab Martiashvili. In really I am who I am, because the mask which I wear
is my real face and I have no other.

BPP: If you could say something important to
others who were listening, what would you tell them?
Zurab Martiashvili: Dont believe art critics. Will you ask critics if something is
really good or will you listen to yourself about what you like or not? Because none of art critics can see the universe with your eyes and will not feel like your soul feels. So you are the
biggest art critic by yourself. And what you like is the best
and beautiful for you and it is not important what the others will say about.

What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one
day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in
your heart?
Zurab Martiashvili: My dream is not to live without dreams every day of
my life. And when all of my dreams will come true one day, another more fantastic and unrealizable dream will appear once again!

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your
country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?
Zurab Martiashvili : In Georgia Georgian people lived well when the great imperialistic countries didn’t in intervene in their lives. But 2000 years ago, Georgians lived in their country with peace and they gave others no chance to conquer them. I think the furute will be beautiful and bright again. Because the light is there at the end of the tunnel!

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you
choose the same life?
Zurab Martiashvili: No! I will change
nothing!

the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life? How did you feel at this very moment?
Zurab Martiashvili: I alawys wanted to become a painter and since than, I am very happyto fulfill my dreams!
