Giulio Iurissevich: "The pain was too much and I gave up; from there I started again"

BPP: Who are you?  And who you really are?

Giulio Iurissevich: I’m a normal person, often bewildered, deluded, happy, sad, this and that.

But I feel that I’m not only a container of  experiences, my history, the usual memories and expectations. Or perhaps my ideal future.

All these often pretend that they belong to me but they are not me. I’m sure.

I’m sure to be everything else but this. It is hard to explain..This is what I feel now.

ΒPP: If you could say something important to others who were listening, what would you tell them?

Giulio Iurissevich: To look inside; outside is only the reflection of inside. Solutions for the issues of your life can not be found outside of you.

BPP:  What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?

Giulio Iurissevich:  Often I lie awake thinking about the people that I miss, that theren't here anymore, my mom for example. But is impossible to speak with her again now..

My biggest expectation is to accept myself and accept everything 100% and to let my bad feelings go forever. To live the present. Day by day. Second by Second. Feeling that I'm only a tenant at this house.

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?

Giulio Iurissevich: Is not easy now: economy, money, spread, fiction and items on sale.

Too much individualism, loneliness. Fear of everything.

It looks based on exaltation and the cult of personality.

And we are in crisis,but I believe the real crisis did not come from outside, comes from within.

We, people are the crisis, it is the mirror of what we are, of what we are identified with.This is only the result.

But also the crisis are important, it makes you understand who you really are.

I hope that everyone understands one day, that we are not lonely fragments , that they are not alone. I hope they can get out of the prisons that have built in their own.

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you choose the same life? Another life?

Giulio Iurissevich:  No thanks LOL.Probably I would choose to be a woman to feel things in a different way.

BPP:  What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?  How did you feel at this very moment?

Giulio Iurissevich: To accept being what I am I had  first to take off all the influences of other people, what they expected from me.The pain others can caused to me. To release myself from my education. The pain that I have inherited from my ancestors. And the pain that I produce alone by myself. Resolve my personal problem, was the first step. Throw my old self, accept my real self,  and than i could risk to continue..

It started all over again after the despair of not being allowed to have what I believed to be reflected in the others. Then I found my real self again.

The pain was too much and I gave up, from there I started again.

Giulio Iurissevich: Thanks for your interest in what I’m doing, I love you.
