BPP: If you could say something important to others who were listening, what would you tell them?

Alexandra Soury: If I were to say something important to others this will be, that life is too short and especially now that is rather difficult, you have to enjoy it more, to live the present moment fully, ttying to make your dreams come true, to enjoy the company of people tou love and stop envy or listen to others, to live their own life and their own passions thoroughly. I know money contributes to happiness, but it‘s not everything and it‘s sad to live in a society that thinks only that!

BPP:  What is your true dream, the one that keeps you up at night and if one day it were to come true you would feel peace and calmness in your heart?

Alexandra Soury: My dream: "to live my passion with my dolls and open an art gallery in France specializing in art dolls!" the most important thing of all: to live my passion for my art and to provide a great living for my children.

BPP: How is life currently for the people in your country and what would you wish for them and for the planet at large?

Alexandra SouryLife is not easy for everyone in France; there are many inequalities, less work, more and more people fall  into poverty and I think this does not stop in the years to come.
I wish you all a better life, a government capable of managing the crisis effectively, less violence and more solidarity.

The planet would need universal peace, which simply means that everyone can eat and drink  and fill their needs, a better living conditions for all the women and children around the world and especially that we are shutting down pollute and destroy nature for money, without it we are nothing and it is time that people should realize at last the great damage we have already done to earth and which we continue to do.

BPP: If you had a chance to be a child again would you choose the same life?

Alexandra Soury: I never lacked anything in my childhood even if it was not pink every day but I would not change it for anything, because it‘s through this life I became stronger and I successfully accomplished one of my greater passions!

BPP:  What was the exact moment that you realized what you wanted to do with your life?  How did you feel at this very moment?

Alexandra SouryI never really knew what exactly I wanted to do, I always sculpted without thinking  that one day my sculptures would travel around the world!
There was no precise moment and I'm still uncertain and I put my work in question very often.
People who collect my sculptures, tell me that my dolls offer to them real emotions and because of their encouragement, I feel that I must continue to create.
