Zlatko Zgonjanin: My name is Zlatko Zgonjanin (1958; Belgrade, Serbia). From an early age I attempted in many artistic disciplines: drawing, graphics and collage. I graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (department of film and TV productions).

Zlatko Zgonjanin: After many years of successful work in this profession, I return to artistic expression, but this time through the digital painting. I enthusiastically accept the fractal art. Of the many programs for creating fractal images, I find the most opportunities for my own expression in the program Apophysis.

BPP: If you could say something important you've learned all these years of your life, to the other people and they were able to listen to you, what would you like to tell them?

Zlatko Zgonjanin:  Many times I was assured that everything you do in your life; you have to do that not only with love, but with the full commitment, passion and total liability and belief in success. Only in this way you will achieve great success.

BPP: What is your real dream, the one that keeps you awake at nights and if one day it will come true, you will feel your heart calm and peacefull?

Zlatko Zgonjanin:  My dream is that my digital photos are being seen by many people and they can enjoy them, but also to find a deeper message that those pictures carry.

Zlatko Zgonjanin: I want that my imagination show to people that there may be other worlds in another time, another dimensions in which we did not used to, other symmetries, other divisions. And that this knowledge releases us of established habits and clichés, and that we all together would be ready for new challenges.

BPP: How is life for the people in your country today? What do you wish to happen to them and to the people of this planet at large?

Zlatko Zgonjanin: In my country people live hardly and this period is very long. New generations have passed through many hardships of modern times: the hyper inflation, NATO bombing, the latest economic crisis.

Zlatko Zgonjanin: For this region (Balkan), it is said that there is no generation which is growing up without a war. I am concerned that the latest crisis is hitting many parts of the world (the world is increasingly linked), and in the past all important crisis have always ended as wars. I hope that today's leaders have learned the lessons of the past.

BPP: If you had the chance to be a child again, will you choose to do the same life you do?

Zlatko Zgonjanin: Yes, I wish I could be a child again. Children are so honest, uncorrupted; they know how to be truly happy and loved. I would like to enjoy again in my childhood and youth. I would not have made many changes, just some corrections.

BPP: Which exactly was the moment you understood what you want to do in your life? How did you feel at this very moment?

Zlatko Zgonjanin:  The moment in which you create something valuable and important, that is the moment that fills you with joy and happiness. These moments I have experienced from an early age, regardless of whether I worked with the fine arts, design or my later profession. To my joy, these moments are still recurring.

BPP: Something yours: Do you want to tell us something we didn't ask you until now?

Zlatko Zgonjanin: I am very pleased that I could to contribute just a little bit with my digital pictures to the success of this project. I hope that my pictures will say more than my words.
