Alexandra Chryssovitsioti: "i hold my hapiness"

BPP: Identity: Who you are? And who you really are?

Alexandra Chryssovitsioti: My name is Alexandra Chryssovitsioti,  I am 37 years old and I deal almost 12 years with the interior architecture as a freelancer! I live and work in Athens, Greece, which (despite the  economic crisis and the difficult living conditions) I still love ! I am married  mother of a five-year old boy ... who as a Greek mother ... I adore!

On the other hand, in a more introspective description ... I'm Alexandra, a basically optimistic and complex character, full of love for the world, a restless spirit who is attracted by creation in all its forms ... from the creation of a thought, an idea, a project ... to the creation of a work of art, which ultimately is my real passion!

I do not know for what purpose I am here on this planet, I may find out  in the end ... but I know  for sure that I can not march without creation and passion in my life!

BPP: If you could say something important you've learned all these years of your life, to the other people and they were able to listen to you, what would you like to tell them?

Alexandra Chryssovitsioti: Over the years, I got convinced that nothing is random in life!
As common as it sounds, I am a loyal supporter of the theory that "when you really want something, the whole universe conspires so to succeed" and in a magical-spiritual way, the pieces of the puzzle, often believed as random events, ultimately complete the big picture!
When this happens ... always amazes me and overflows me with strength and faith ... for my next step.

I always try to instil this feeling in the people that surround me, because I'm sure ...  things work in that way and as an impulsive character, I want to share with all, the mental balance resulting from this fact!

BPP: What is your real dream, the one that keeps you awake at nights and if one day it will come true, you will feel your heart calm and peacefull?

Alexandra Chryssovitsioti: Sometimes I dream that I have an art studio, bathed in light, in which I deal constantly with all forms of art, painting, pottery, sculpture, printmaking, modelling ... of course not concerned about the practical part of living (and I mean money) ... a space just for me ... to sink in my ideas and my art, undisturbed by external factors ... a place that I play my favourite games like I used to,  when I was a kid! I hope universe do its best …!!!

BPP: How is life for the people in your country today? What do you wish to happen to them and to the people of this planet at large?

Alexandra Chryssovitsioti:  Greece, is a unique, bright, especially emotional and of high energy country! The Greeks are cheerful people with deep faith that all will go well! Today, due to the economic crisis plaguing our country, the morale of the Greeks, beyond the daily struggle for survival, has dropped, a situation that is outside of their nature!

I therefore hope that everyone ... try to get a good mood, positive thinking and remember what were the things that gave us joy when we were kids! I hope they turn their minds to the simplicity and essence of things, the pleasure of small moments that give us happiness and memories!! I wish this attitude spread to the whole planet and people finally realize that the spiritual and positive energy is most essential than ever!!!

BPP: If you had the chance to be a child again, will you choose to do the same life you do?

Alexandra Chryssovitsioti: If I had the chance to be a child again ... I would, definitely, not change anything from my childhood or from my emotional development as I was growing up!
On the other hand, the thing I would change, would be my social and economic education,   in a capitalistic system that brought me much out of my nature and my childhood! I would never again chase fame and money! I would never follow a stressful career! I would not care about my outer appearance! I would not want to do boring things! I would not want to act like an adult!
I would choose to live like a child, always happy and worry free! I would confront life as an endless game with the company of my best friends! Love, happiness , joy, friendship,  laughter would be  my buddies…Could this come true? I’ m almost there!!!!

BPP: Which exactly was the moment you understood what you want to do in your life? How did you feel at this very moment?

Alexandra Cryssovitsioti: As an only child, I can remember my self to be passionate with arts and crafts! I used to spend hours "sinking" in my projects and I really enjoyed my unique world! Over time, this evolved into a professional level and effortlessly I became an interior architect!
I’m still not sure that this is the most suitable  profession for me , therefore  I am unable to reveal the moment  I understood what I would do in my life…I am still working on it!

BPP: Something yours: Do you want to tell us something we didn't ask you until now?

Alexandra Chryssovitsioti: Last summer, I had the need to have a motto in my life , that would remind me to be happy and give me strength against the difficulties of everyday life! While I was grumbling that I do not find things, circumstances or people that would made me happy…a friend told me that the answer is there, in front of my eyes…”You hold your happiness Alexandra!” .
The next day I got a tattoo that said “I hold my happiness…”!!!
